In Latvia, jet ski competitions take place in the summer and each season has a certain number of competition stages (on average 3-5 stages). They are held in various cities of Latvia according to the infrastructure and can take place both in the sea, lakes and rivers. The competition will take place one day - on Saturday - from 8:00 - 18:00, but athletes usually arrive on time already on Friday evening with their families. In the sport of jet skiing, everyone can find a class that suits them. There are about 15 different classes in Latvia, from which you can choose the one you want. They are divided into stand-up (SKI) and sit-down (Runabout and Spark) jet skis. Classes are also divided according to the technical equipment of jet skis - standard motorcycle (GP2) or advanced motorcycle (GP1). They are also divided by age (Junior and Veteran 35+ class), as well as by gender (Ladies class). Separate classes are also created for beginners or hobby riders.<\/p>

Each class has technical rules that must be followed. There are classes in which motorcycles are allowed only in standard equipment as from the store (GP2), or there are classes in which various improvements are allowed, both in terms of handling and power of the motorcycle (GP1).<\/p>
