For the 2025 racing season, the minimum age for Ski Division GP1 and Runabout GP1 classes is 16 years old.<\/span><\/p>\n

As from the 2026 racing season, the minimum age for Ski Division GP1 and Runabout GP1 classes will be 17 years old. <\/span><\/p>\n

As from the 2026 racing season, a 16 years old rider having finished third, second or first in the final standings of a Ski Division GP2 or Runabout GP2 UIM World or Continental Championship will be eligible to participate in a Ski Division GP1 or Runabout GP1 UIM World or Continental Championship<\/span><\/p>\n

Klases<\/b><\/p>\n

Ski Juniors GP4<\/span><\/p>\n

Ski Juniors GP4 12 minutes + 1 Lap<\/span><\/p>\n

Ski Juniors GP4 Maximum 15 riders<\/span><\/p>\n

Sacens\u012bbu form\u0101ts<\/b><\/p>\n

The minimum number of turn buoys for a <\/span>world or<\/span> continental championship circuit race is 20. One or more alternative courses are part of the circuit (minimum 4 buoys – maximum 8)<\/span><\/p>\n

 Figures such as long laps or joker buoys are admitted, procedures to be announced at riders briefing<\/span><\/p>\n

Kvalifik\u0101cija<\/b><\/p>\n

LCQ 8 minutes + 1 lap (only when allowed by race schedule time constraints)<\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span> Pole position<\/span> session will be run on a fastest lap basis. <\/span><\/p>\n

When allowed by race schedule time constraints: If the number of registered riders is higher than the number of allowed riders, the riders will be divided into two groups by their numbers in the registration list, 1 st \u2013 3 rd \u2013 5 th (even numbers) etc. in group A and 2 nd \u2013 4 th \u2013 6 th etc in group B (odd numbers). These two groups qualify separately and will equally fill up the starting field for the pole position. A maximum of 4 places in the starting grid will be reserved at the end of the grid to riders qualifying in the \u201clast chance qualify\u201d session (LCQ), as specified at riders briefing briefing. The LCQ will be a racing session based on the fastest lap, with a maximum duration of 8 minutes. The riders entering LCQ will be the Last riders of the A\/B groups qualify sessions. <\/span><\/p>\n

Starts<\/b><\/p>\n

The starting grid for the first moto will be according to the result of Pole Position <\/span>or lucky draw<\/span>, the following moto(s) will start with the grid determined by the result of the previous one. <\/span>Starting positions cannot be changed between riders.<\/span><\/p>\n

When instructed by the starter, all riders will line up with their AB in the correct order. <\/span>The starter will show a \u201c2\u201d board (turn your engines on) and check all riders. At this point,<\/span> riders on the starting grid have the chance<\/span> (by raising the hand) to call a 2 minutes countdown if they need. If no rider calls the 2 minutes Countdown the starter will show a \u201c1\u201d board (ready to go) and will start the race from 0 to 5 seconds.<\/span><\/p>\n

When \u201c1\u201d board is turned on, there is no more possibility to raise a hand and to interrupt the start. After 2 minutes countdown has been carried out, no more interruptions (by raising the hand) are allowed in second start. <\/span>\u201c2\u201d board signal and \u201c1\u201d board signal might be substituted by equivalent signals (I.e. lights or flags). <\/span><\/p>\n

To be classified in the final standings of a World or Continental Championship, a rider must participate in at least one round of the said Championship.<\/span><\/p>\n

Slaloma noteikumi<\/b><\/p>\n

Pole Position must take place on a slalom course<\/span>. If allowed by race schedule time constraints, it includes a test run and 2 timed attempts. <\/span>The top 4 from pole position in each category will participate in the finals at each event. Riders positioned in pole position as 5th will receive points for position 5th position = 16 points, 6th 15 points and so on as per UIM rule 310.03. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Parallel Slalom will proceed by direct elimination in two rounds, one on each circuit. In case of an equality, a third round will determine<\/span> the winner and the rider with the fastest qualification time will choose track. The rider with the best time will face the rider with the third best time. The rider with the second best time will face the rider with the fourth best time. <\/span>The Starting position for the 3rd round will be decided by flipping a coin.<\/span><\/p>\n

 Moto 1 Semifinal 1 Qualified rider 1+3 Moto 2 Semifinal 2 Qualified rider 2+4 Moto 3 Final for places 3-4 The pilots eliminated from the semifinals Moto 4 Final for places 1-2 Winners from semifinal<\/span><\/p>\n

SKI GP4 Tehniskie noteikumi<\/b><\/p>\n

Aquabike competing in the <\/span>Ski Division GP4<\/span> category must conform to the following criteria: <\/span><\/p>\n

01) The maximum engine cubic capacity: Atmospheric, 4 Strokes, 1100 cc <\/span><\/p>\n

02) Dry weight must be greater than 160 kg <\/span><\/p>\n

03) <\/span>Overall <\/span>length cannot exceed 250 cm <\/span><\/p>\n

04) <\/span>Overall <\/span>width must be between 50 cm and 80 cm<\/span><\/p>\n

SKI GP3 Tehniskie noteikumi<\/b><\/p>\n

Aquabike competing in the <\/span>Ski Division GP3<\/span> category must conform to the following criteria: <\/span><\/p>\n

01) The maximum engine cubic capacity: Atmospheric, 2 Strokes, 800 cc <\/span><\/p>\n

02) The maximum OEM engine power: 85 Hp <\/span><\/p>\n

03) Dry weight must be greater than 135 kg <\/span><\/p>\n

04) <\/span>Overall <\/span>length cannot exceed 250cm <\/span><\/p>\n

05) <\/span>Overall <\/span>width must be between 50 cm and 78 cm <\/span><\/p>\n

06) <\/span>Overall <\/span>height cannot exceed 86 cm <\/span>measured <\/span>from the lowest point of the hull to the handlepole in its position rested against the hood. <\/span><\/p>\n

07) The handle pole must be mounted in front of the engine compartment and must have a minimum movement of 75 degrees. <\/span><\/p>\n

SKI GP2 Tehniskie noteikumi<\/b><\/p>\n

Aquabike competing in the <\/span>Ski Division GP2 category<\/span> must conform to the following criteria: <\/span><\/p>\n

01) The maximum engine cubic capacity: <\/span><\/p>

a) Atmospheric 2 Strokes 850 cc b) Atmospheric 4 Strokes 1620 cc c) Turbo 750 cc <\/span><\/p>\n

02) Dry weight must be greater than a) 135 kg for atmospheric 2 Strokes b) 165 kg for atmospheric 4 Strokes<\/span><\/p>\n

03) <\/span>Overall <\/span>length cannot exceed 280 cm <\/span><\/p>\n

04) <\/span>Overall <\/span>width must be between 50 cm and 78cm <\/span><\/p>\n

05) <\/span>Overall <\/span>height cannot exceed 86 cm <\/span>measured <\/span>from the lowest point of the hull to the handlepole in its position rested against the hood.<\/span><\/p>\n

06) The handle pole must be mounted in front of the engine compartment and must have a minimum movement of 75 degrees.<\/span><\/p>\n

SKI GP1 Tehniskie noteikumi<\/b><\/p>\n

08) All aquabikes, even if prototypes, must have a HIN number and a dimensional drawing with the measures. All these must be inserted in the logbook to obtain UIM homologation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aquabike competing in the <\/span>Ski Division GP1<\/span> category must conform to the following criteria: <\/span><\/p>\n

01) The maximum engine cubic capacity:<\/span><\/p>

a) Atmospheric 2 Strokes 1300 cc b) Atmospheric 4 Strokes 1620 cc c) Turbo 4 Strokes 1000 cc<\/span><\/p>\n

02) Dry weight must be greater than 135 kg <\/span><\/p>\n

03) <\/span>Overall <\/span>length cannot exceed 280 cm <\/span><\/p>\n

04) <\/span>Overall <\/span>width cannot exceed 85 cm <\/span><\/p>\n

05) <\/span>Overall <\/span>height cannot exceed 86 cm <\/span>measured <\/span>from the lowest point of the hull to the handlepole in its position rested against the hood. <\/span><\/p>\n

06) The handle pole must be mounted in front of the engine compartment and must have a minimum movement of 75 degrees <\/span><\/p>\n

RUN GP4 Tehniskie noteikumi<\/b><\/p>\n

Aquabike competing<\/span> in the<\/span> Runabout GP4<\/span> category must conform to the following criteria: <\/span><\/p>\n

01) The maximum engine cubic capacity: Atmospheric 4 Strokes 950 cc <\/span><\/p>\n

02) Dry weight must be greater than 180kg <\/span><\/p>\n

03) <\/span>Overall <\/span>length cannot exceed 320 cm <\/span><\/p>\n

04) <\/span>Overall <\/span>width must be between 96.5 cm and 127 cm <\/span><\/p>\n

RUN GP2 Tehniskie noteikumi<\/b><\/p>\n

Aquabike competing <\/span>in the Runabout GP2<\/span> category must conform to the following criteria: <\/span><\/p>\n

01) The maximum engine cubic capacity: <\/span><\/p>

a) Atmospheric 2 Strokes 2600 cc b) Atmospheric 4 Strokes 2600 cc c) Supercharged 4 Strokes 2000 cc <\/span><\/p>\n

02) Dry weight must be greater than 310 kg <\/span><\/p>\n

03) <\/span>Overall <\/span>length cannot exceed 360 cm <\/span><\/p>\n

04) <\/span>Overall <\/span>width must be between 96 cm and 127 cm <\/span><\/p>\n

05) For Endurance only, the <\/span>Overall <\/span>length cannot exceed 394 cm<\/span><\/p>\n

04) <\/span>Overall <\/span>width cannot exceed 127 cm <\/span><\/p>\n

05) For Endurance only, the <\/span>overall <\/span>length cannot exceed 394 cm<\/span><\/p>\n

Person\u012bgais ekip\u0113jums<\/b><\/p>\n

A life jacket will be worn by all pilots and at all times when on the water. It is required that the life jacket shall be designed for racing. <\/span>Riders life jacket must be under EN ISO 12402-5:2020 certification or meet the current national authority standards.<\/span> Every pilot shall verify that his\/her flotation equipment to function properly when requested.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the tests, the training and the races, it is mandatory to carry an independent dorsal back protection<\/span> (this back protection must have a minimum CE EN 1621-2:2014 level 1 or 2 certification or meet the current national authority standards. Stage 2 CE standard is recommended for better protection against impact)<\/span>, goggles <\/span>(should follow safety code – EN 1938:2010)<\/span>, closed footwear and gloves. For runabout: leg protection is also required. <\/span>Riders losing gloves or goggles during any session will be permitted to carry on racing. <\/span><\/p>\n

Finish line – Imaginary line in front of race control\/timing. This line marks the start\/ending line for each lap of the circuit. It may be limited by 2 racing buoys. As from the 2026 racing season, the minimum age for Ski Division GP1 and Runabout GP1 classes will be 17 years old.  As from the 2026 racing season, a 16 years old rider having finished third, second or first in the final standings of a Ski Division GP2 or Runabout GP2 UIM World or Continental Championship will be eligible to participate in a Ski Division GP1 or Runabout GP1 UIM World or Continental Championship Klases Ski Juniors GP4 Ski Juniors GP4 12 minutes + 1 Lap Ski Juniors GP4 Maximum 15 riders Sacens\u012bbu form\u0101ts The minimum number of turn buoys for a world or continental championship circuit race is 20. One or more alternative courses are part of the circuit (minimum 4 buoys – maximum 8)  Figures such as long laps or joker buoys are admitted, procedures to be announced at riders briefing Kvalifik\u0101cija LCQ 8 minutes + 1 lap (only when allowed by race schedule time constraints) The Pole position session will be run on a fastest lap basis.  When allowed by race schedule time constraints: If the number of registered riders is higher than the number of allowed riders, the riders will be divided into two groups by their numbers in the registration list, 1 st \u2013 3 rd \u2013 5 th (even numbers) etc. in group A and 2 nd \u2013 4 th \u2013 6 th etc in group B (odd numbers). These two groups qualify separately and will equally fill up the starting field for the pole position. A maximum of 4 places in the starting grid will be reserved at the end of the grid to riders qualifying in the \u201clast chance qualify\u201d session (LCQ), as specified at riders briefing briefing. The LCQ will be a racing session based on the fastest lap, with a maximum duration of 8 minutes. The riders entering LCQ will be the Last riders of the A\/B groups qualify sessions.  Starts The starting grid for the first moto will be according to the result of Pole Position or lucky draw, the following moto(s) will start with the grid determined by the result of the previous one. Starting positions cannot be changed between riders. When instructed by the starter, all riders will line up with their AB in the correct order. The starter will show a \u201c2\u201d board (turn your engines on) and check all riders. At this point, riders on the starting grid have the chance (by raising the hand) to call a 2 minutes countdown if they need. If no rider calls the 2 minutes Countdown the starter will show a \u201c1\u201d board (ready to go) and will start the race from 0 to 5 seconds. When \u201c1\u201d board is turned on, there is no more possibility to raise a hand and to interrupt the start. After 2 minutes countdown has been carried out, no more interruptions (by raising the hand) are allowed in second start. \u201c2\u201d board signal and \u201c1\u201d board signal might be substituted by equivalent signals (I.e. lights or flags).  Kvalifik\u0101cija punktiem sacens\u012bb\u0101s To be classified in the final standings of a World or Continental Championship, a rider must participate in at least one round of the said Championship. If allowed by race schedule time constraints, it includes a test run and 2 timed attempts. The top 4 from pole position in each category will participate in the finals at each event. Riders positioned in pole position as 5th will receive points for position 5th position = 16 points, 6th 15 points and so on as per UIM rule 310.03.  The Parallel Slalom will proceed by direct elimination in two rounds, one on each circuit. In case of an equality, a third round will determine the winner and the rider with the fastest qualification time will choose track. The rider with the best time will face the rider with the third best time. The rider with the second best time will face the rider with the fourth best time. The Starting position for the 3rd round will be decided by flipping a coin.  Moto 1 Semifinal 1 Qualified rider 1+3 Moto 2 Semifinal 2 Qualified rider 2+4 Moto 3 Final for places 3-4 The pilots eliminated from the semifinals Moto 4 Final for places 1-2 Winners from semifinal SKI GP4 Tehniskie noteikumi Aquabike competing in the Ski Division GP4 category must conform to the following criteria:  01) The maximum engine cubic capacity: Atmospheric, 4 Strokes, 1100 cc  02) Dry weight must be greater than 160 kg  03) Overall length cannot exceed 250 cm  04) Overall width must be between 50 cm and 80 cm SKI GP3 Tehniskie noteikumi Aquabike competing in the Ski Division GP3 category must conform to the following criteria:  01) The maximum engine cubic capacity: Atmospheric, 2 Strokes, 800 cc  02) The maximum OEM engine power: 85 Hp  03) Dry weight must be greater than 135 kg  04) Overall length cannot exceed 250cm  05) Overall width must be between 50 cm and 78 cm  06) Overall height cannot exceed 86 cm measured from the lowest point of the hull to the handlepole in its
